From her first exhibition in New York City at the age of 17, to her most recent tour of Japan, Lefcort’s works have been displayed in some of the most prestigious museums and fine art galleries in the world. In 1996, Lefcort was commissioned to create the portrait of then First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. Her many collectors are as varied as Her Royal Highness Queen Noor of Jordan, to the Hard Rock Cafe.
Lefcort has worked with Universal and Warner Brothers Studios, The Walt Disney Company and Viacom’s VH-1 and MTV. Influenced by Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, Lefcort says the boldness and simplicity are keys to unlocking the imagery.
Most recently, several of Allison’s portraits on display at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy mansion were shown prominently during an episode of the reality series The Girls Next Door. The Gibson Guitar Company's Custom Shop commissioned Allison to create a painting of John Lennon in celebration of the release of their John Lennon Limited Edition Les Paul Jr.
